Question by : Does Google Books work without an internet connection?
Okay, I wanted to know if Google books works if there is no internet connection, for example if you are going on a long car ride and you leave google books popped up already to your book of choice, will the pages still flip, without the internet?

Try it yourself real quick. Just open up a book, disable Internet temporarily, and see if you can flip the pages.

Offline reading is supported on some apps. For normal web reading (such as laptop), it isn’t.

You can download a PDF of your book though that can be viewed while offline. Open the book normally, in the upper-right click the ” i ” for About This Book, and then click the “Read on your device” link. On the page that opens, scroll to the bottom and choose “Download PDF”.
