I really loved the book, “A Great and Terrible Beauty.” It wasn’t exactly a “romantic” novel, but it did include a bit of that, plus some added suspense. I swear I could not put that book down when I read it about 4 years ago. It’s one of my favorites that I even bought the book itself.

Pretty much any book by Nicholas Sparks! Happy Reading!

Nora Roberts is a staple. Of the 130+ books she’s released, I own about 120+ of them and love all of them. Her Chesapeake Bay series (Sea Swept, Rising Tides, Inner Harbor, and Chesapeake Blue) are an excellent place to start.

Julie Garwood writes both historical romance and romantic contemporary thrillers. Again, they’re all good.

Anne Gracie: The Stolen Princess

Rachel Gibson: Sex, Lies, and Online Dating

Janet Evanovich: Stephanie Plum series (One for the Money, Two for the Dough, …)

Jennifer Crusie: Bet Me

Kat Martin: Necklace trilogy

These authors are, in my opinion, a great place to start, though if you’d like more suggestions, feel free to message me.

Julie Garwood is a good author. So is Linda Miller. Hope that helps.
